Let’s get into the nitty gritty of what we will be covering, chronic condition or not this programme will transform the way that you approach stress and anxiety and support you to feel more at ease.

WEEK ONE

Understanding the overwhelm

First we need to define where the stress and anxiety is in your life and what causes you to feel overwhelmed. Then we will deep dive into your vision for the future  and what might be getting in the way.  

  • Define your personal vision
  • Work out the blocks in your life for feeling calm
  • Learn about YOU and where and how stress and anxiety is showing up in your life

You will leave this week with a clear vision for where you are heading, excited about what is to come and ready to start your journey to overcome the overwhelm in your life.  

WEEK TWO

The power of the mind body connection

In week two we will explore the profound connection between the mind and body so that it can be harnessed  to help you thrive.  

  • Understand the mind body connection and its impact on health
  • Know how to meet your needs to support your health and life (without even thinking about your health condition)
  • Learn to trust you body again

You will leave with a deeper understanding of the mind body connection and its influence on health with practical tools that you can implement immediately.

Transforming fear into freedom

It’s time to embrace the anxiety and fear that comes with having a long term condition.  

  • Understand how to calm anxiety instantly
  • Recognise what anxiety sounds like to you and how to tame it.
  • Learn to find your freedom in your fear

You will understand how fear shows up and get know your anxious thoughts better than ever before and then learn the tools to manage them every day.

WEEK FOUR

Redefining your relationship to stress

This week we delve into stress and overwhelm and providing you with practical steps to recognise your stress and how it affects you.

  • Learn what stress actually is and the long term physical effects on the body
  • Map your personal stress signature
  • Explore your relationship to rest

By the end of this session you will have developed effective strategies to recognise stress and manage it before it gets overwhelming.

WEEK FIVE

Embracing acceptance and unlocking inner peace

In this module we will focus on cultivating acceptance, fostering self forgiveness and self compassion as you navigate the challenges of living with a long term condition. 

  • Knowing what acceptance is and isn't.
  • Being compassionate with yourself as you learn, grow and make mistakes.
  • Learning compassionate self forgiveness.

With acceptance and self compassion it all falls into place. 

This journey will require you to be vulnerable, to be honest about where you are at and what scares you.  You will be facing your fears and exploring new ways of being that will leave you feeling calmer, less stressed and able to recognise your anxious thoughts.  

You will be able to take away tools and techniques to put into practice in your life immediately and re-visit them whenever you need to.  You will have a much better understanding of who you are and how your tick, which is in my opinion is priceless 😉

After living with two genetic conditions all my life, a large proportion of which was undiagnosed, I found myself just surviving.  If I’m honest I just didn’t know another way.  But when the kids were born and I realised that chronic illness and disability was present in their lives too and I knew that I had to step up.

What is a life coach?
A life coach helps you establish a plan to move you closer to your goal, helps you track your progress, and hold you accountable to take courageous action.

Who do you work with?

I work with people with long term or chronic illness and help them to take control of their life and their health.

These people are from all walks of life, homemakers, business leaders, other coaches and students.

I help them get in control of pain and fatigue, manage symptoms, re-connect with who they are, regain a sense of balance in their life, increase their confidence, learn to connect with their emotions, befriend and attend to their own nervous system and feel in control of their lives and where they are heading.   In this Intimate 5 week coaching container we be specifically focussing on stress and overwhelm so that you can feel calmer, understand yourself better and manage life setbacks.

What happens if I can't make a session
Hey, I understand that chronic illness is unpredictable and the journey to wellness is not without its bumps in the road.

I have a 24 hour cancellation policy where you can log in and rebook at a time that suits you better.

If it’s less that 24 hours this option will not be available but you can give me a call or email and we can discuss if it is possible to rebook the session. 

How do sessions take place?

All sessions will take place over zoom.  You will need to download the zoom app prior to your first session and have access to a reliable internet connection. You may also need a pen and paper hand.  Alternatively sessions can take place over the telephone.

What is the time commitment?

This is an intimate 5 week coaching container.  Each session will be between 60 and 90 minutes.  You will have HW in-between each session to complete.  This is not like school where you will report back each week but is designed to support your learning and fast track the coaching process.  All sessions are conducted on Zoom so they are super convenient to you.
